Behind The Scenes – January Update

It’s been a fairly organised and steady month, dare I say it.

A few minor mishaps with the system migration I have been putting through but otherwise it seems to have gone well overall.

We were well-planned and more organised and it seems like it’s all gone smoothly.

We are unfortunately in the tricky position of running 2 systems at the same time as some customers on the old system can’t be moved over due to Paypal limitations, but otherwise everything else and everything new is now happening through the new system and so far initial feedback suggests it is much smoother and easier to use.

So what’s next?

Plans for our February boxes are currently under way and it looks like it’s going to be another fun one.

We are starting to see a bit of a split in terms of what our customers want from our boxes.

Whereas some of you seem to really like more technically challenging bakes, some of you seem to prefer simple ones that don’t take up much time.

I suppose it is the nature of the business that every month should be something different so I will always try to cater to both ends, although it won’t always be possible.

The good news is that for those of you wanting a bit more of a technical challenge, and to learn to put together some absolute showstoppers, we are going to be increasing our product range in the coming weeks and months to cater exactly for that.

We have got 6-8 box ideas already planned to go alongside the subscription boxes and we have also got a great range in the pipeline for kids. We just need to put the finishing touches on them, get the design work done and we will be good to go.
